Watch Detail
Detail of the back of my Seiko 5 automatic watch.
For those unfamiliar with them, the Seiko 5 series is a great introductory line of automatic (self-winding) watches. They run in the $50-100+ range, and keep pretty reasonable time. They also have an exhibition back, so you can see the clockwork inside.

Testing my new Macro
This is one of my test shots with a new (to me) 6omm f2.8D Micro-Nikkor that I bought off of eBay (Also available on Amazon.)
The subject is my Gillette open comb safety razor, which I actually use (almost) daily.
I bought the older (non-AF-S) version of the macro lens for a couple reasons, including cost and better interoperability with extension rings or bellows.

Car in an Old Garage
This was taken on a drive with my dad. We had gone out to take some pictures, including the spring house at Paradise Springs. This was at an abandoned farm in Southeastern Wisconsin. The property is for sale, but the house is a bit of a fixer-upper, most of it is fallen into the basement.
